Golfers Elbow

Golfer’s elbow (medial epicondylitis) is a condition that causes pain where the tendons of your forearm muscles attach to the bony bump on the inside of your elbow. The pain might spread into your forearm and wrist.

Golfer’s elbow is usually caused by overusing the muscles in the forearm that allow you to grip, rotate your arm, and flex your wrist. Repetitive flexing, gripping, or swinging can cause pulls or tiny tears in the tendons.

People might get it while playing risky sports like tennis, bowling, and cricket. People may also get it from using tools like screwdrivers and hammers or painting.

At Vivacare Advanced Physiotherapy and Pain Clinic, our physiotherapists will assess the cause of your pain and advice you with individualized treatment plan. The clinic provides following therapies to bring you quick and long term relief from golfers elbow.

You will be given home exercise regime including strengthening and stretching exercises to maintain the effects of therapy and prevent the recurrence of the pain.
